Bottom line: Anatomy and physiology aren't apparently considered to be an important part of nurse training by the NHS.
Of course, here in the US, we should be glad that we don't have to deal with this shit.
Even I thought so, until a conversation with a nurse practitioner in training last week (who will remain anonymous). It sounds like in her program, a full 2 weeks of anatomy is considered sufficient.
What the fuck is going on here?
Are these the same nurse practitioners that will be staffing retail clinics at Wal-Mart stores across the country? You bet your ass they are.
